The Specialist Diploma in Business Management provides the opportunity for students with or without experience to develop an understanding of the nature of the business world and gain an insight into a different aspect of business management. The course aims to equip students with an analytical problem-solving approach in business management and learn about the emerging issues arising in the society that affect the business decision.

Graduate of this Specialist Diploma may progress to a higher-level qualification in the field of Business management. The graduates also may pursue a career in the any organisation in Singapore and overseas. E.g. Sales coordinator, Marketing Trainee, Administrative Clerks , HR Trainee, Management Trainee.

Academic Requirement:

• Obtained International Baccalaureate Diploma (at least 24 points) or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR

• Obtained at least 2 GCE A-Level passes including Mathematics and *English; OR

• Completion of GSTM Diploma (Specialized in Business Management) or equivalent; OR

• NUS High School Diploma; OR

• Polytechnic Diploma (e.g. Diploma in Accounting/ Business/ Management/ IT/ Computing/ Hospitality/ Psychology); OR

• Other recognised PEI qualification in a related discipline that is assessed to be comparable in standard to a Polytechnic Diploma or IB Diploma; OR

• Matured student: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years of relevant working experiences will be considered.

English Language Requirement:

• *A pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or IELTS 5.5 and or equivalent; OR

• Completed a prior Diploma or equivalent where the medium of instruction is English

Full Time: 6 months (weekday)

Part Time: 8 months (evening weekday / weekend)
